Maryhaven is certified by both the Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services and the Ohio Department of Mental Health. We are monitored for compliance by the Ohio Department of Mental Health (ODMH), Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services (ODADAS) and Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS). We are nationally accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) as a provider of integrated behavioral healthcare, and are certified under the Ohio Association of Nonprofit Organization (OANO) Standards of Excellence in Nonprofit Management.

The Maryhaven Research Institute, under the leadership of Dr. Gregory Brigham, Chief Research Officer, was created in 2001. The Research Institute exists to improve patient care through national research partnerships including The National Institute of Drug Abuse (NIDA) and Harvard Medical School. Clinical trials conducted in the Research Institute benefit patients across the country.
